De functie
As Inside Sales Engineer Germany you work with Field Sales, Service Engineers and Product Support staff to promote, sell and support products, with a strong focus on customer communication, application assistance and troubleshooting. You are part of a Customer Contact Team with colleagues of various nationalities. You provide a range of customer support, including commercial order-related support and the highest level of technical support in the team.

Specific Job Responsibilities
  • Provide expert level commercial, technical and application assistance to customers.
  • Independently answer sales enquiries for Emerson Process Management Flow, Dedicated Density and Viscosity products and their application, whether received by telephone, fax, e-mail or letter.
  • Size and select products appropriate to customer needs and prepare price and delivery within approved guidelines thus providing a commercial and compliant quotation in accordance with the customer and company’s requirements.
  • Proactive participation in the quotation and (repair/warranty/sales) order life-cycles including entering all required information into the Company’s business systems, follow-up and meeting agreed performance objectives.
  • Provide after-sales service (including troubleshooting assistance and coordination of repair and warranty items) to customers.
  • Proactively communicate and work with customers, internal colleagues from various departments and country organization to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Ensure that all operating procedures are adhered to & participate in improvement initiatives.
  • Generate and follow-up of Customer Experience Registration forms (‘complaints’) to improve internal processes and ultimately quality of service supplied to customers.
  • Carry out export compliance screening according to QMS procedures.
Je profiel
You have a BSc degree, preferably Electrical Engineering, Chemistry or Industrial Automation and at least 3 years experience in an inside sales or customer service role. You have excellent communication skills in native German language and fluent in English language.
